Karen: EXCELLENT RUG

I was concerned about purchasing this rug because some pictures showed it as a deep red and others as a deep plum Bordeaux color. I was hoping for the red, so to match my expensive silk burgundy curtains, but it is more of the plum Bordeaux color. It s not really red or purple. It s a deep mix of both. However, it s really gorgeous. It s so beautiful that I m putting up my beautiful silk curtains and buying new ones to match this rug. Also the medallion is more golden than I thought it would be. All said, it s quite elegant and also very thick and soft. I read lots of reviews of people complaining that it sheds, but it isn t all. This rug is stunning
